I
Naririto kami ngayon mga panday nitong bayan
Serbisyong tunay at wagas ang aming inialay
Taglay nami’y KAKAYAHANG hinubog at pinagunlad
Sa Dalubhasaan gn Tanggulang Pambansa ng Pilipinas
II
KABAYNIHAN tinanim sa aming puso’t isipan
Puhunan tungo sa isang payapa’t malayang bayan
Dalubhasaang pambansa iginagalang at tinitingala
IV
KAKAYAHAN, KABAYANIHAN, KADAKILAAN ay makakamtan
Sa Dalubhasaan ng Tanggulang Pambansa ng Pilipinas
Gabay ang Diyos patungo sa kinabukasang inaasam
Mga panday na itinalagang maglingkod sa bayan

BRIEF EXPLANATION
March music is characterized by a consistent tempo normally paced at 120 beats per minute. March music follows the 6/8 and 2/4, time signature. At this particular song, the appropriate time signature is 2/4 because it relates well to how th elyrics and accompaniment were composed. For non-musicians, March music can be distinguished by the ‘boom’ that can be heard which is timed on the ‘down beat’, so that during marching, it will correspond with the left foot. For the purpose of recording, we placed ‘boom’ on both feet and on several occasions, on the ‘off the beat’, or in the between steps’ during marching.

The first stanza who we are (Call Name: Panday) and our Capability (Kakayahan): the Skill, Knowledge, Attitude (SKA) and dedication to serve the country and its national interests as an alumni of NDCP. It also emphasized that these traits and values are honed in the portals of the institution
Thru NDCP, ‘Kabayanihan’ (Patriotism) is an integral part of every Alumni motivation to serve our country and people. Peace and prosperity of our country is what we aim to achieve w/ Patriotism as our capital. That NDCP Alumni gains respect and admiration by devoting its works to God & People. Also it’s through God’s guidance the alumni hearts, minds & character are shaped.
Thru NDCP, the ‘Kadakilaan’ (Greatness) that was passed on by our forefathers flourished and continues to live in the hearts of an NDCP alumnus & must be nurtured in order to attain national prosperity or a better tomorrow, This is manifested by the alumni capability and commitment to lead & serve whenever or wherever their services are most needed.
This stanza reiterated that the three (3) values are; the desirable qualities that each alumnus must possess. We believe that the God is our constant guide in attaining our goal. Likewise it reminds us alumni to be ready all the time to serve our country when needed.
SUMMARY
The proposed March lyrics follows in general the Vision & Mission of the NDCPAAI. It inspires nationalism because the THREE (3) values used (Kakayahan, Kabayanihan, Kadakilaan) put premium on our role and innate strength as graduates of Master in National Security Administration anchored on “Champions” good qualities at standards. Also it is easy to understand because it is in Filipino. Additionally, it enhances the image and reputation of the association including the institution that hones the members’ skills, knowledge and attitude (SKA). Lastly, the melody follows the March music tempo as required.
